The Charles Chikhani Innovation Award organized by CERAM Alumni Club – Lebanon and Charles Chikhani Foundation ended with the Award ceremony that took place at Phoenicia Intercontinental on March 29, 2009 under the patronage of the Minister of Economy and Trade Mr. Mohamad Safadi.
Six companies in six different categories were rewarded during the show. Winners received the Charles Chikhani Innovation Award trophy and the winner of the Grand Prix a cheque of $5,000 offered by the Charles Chikhani Foundation.
The results of the 2008 edition are the following:
- Innovation and Technology category and Grand Prix: the 3D 3030 photo kit by Mission 3D
- Innovation and IT category: Qadmos software
- Innovation and Telecom category: Mobi from Mobile Technology Tomorrow (MT2)
- Innovation and Industry: 3WF fence by Century Fence
- Innovation and Food category: Innocent by Al Rifai
- Innovation and Society: Lebanon Mountain Trail by Ecodit
